This is what we said
about the ex-Rosehips organised 20 years reunion in November 2006
A review of the night is

The Rosehips 20 Years On

The Rosehips are not reforming and I think
it's safe to say, will never reform! We are, however, having a get together.
As it's twenty years since The Rosehips
released their first record, we thought it a timely occasion for us all to meet
up - so we've organised a gig to do just that!
The Fucking Rosehips formed in Sheffield in 2005, as a Rosehips tribute band (!), played a couple of legendary gigs and although they have metamorphosed into The Parallelograms playing their own songs, have agreed to reform for the night to play their Rosehips covers set. We only got to know of their existence when they emailed to ask what the lyrics were to The Last Light!
We're really happy that the Beatnik Filmstars have also agreed to play, as we played many memorable gigs with the Groove Farm.
Horowitz, with whom Pete (ex -Rosehips) plays bass, make up the lineup.
Rocker
who played in both
The Flatmates and The Rosehips, will be the guest dj for the
night, digging out vinyl nuggets from the mid - late 80s era.
Come join us!
The gig is on November 18th at
The Glebe
in Stoke-on-Trent, the doors open at 8pm
and the cost is £4.
